Natural language processing let's you turn natural language into due dates and times. Below you can see what is possible with the current version of this feature:

  • Relative dates, such as "today" or "tomorrow"

  • Partial dates without a specific year, e.g. "January 5th" or "Thursday"

  • Partial dates without a specific day, e.g. "January 2025"

  • Dates using date modifiers, such as "this", "next", "end of"

  • Time specifications, e.g. "today at 5pm"

  • Dates with repeat options, such as "daily" or "every week"

This feature is available in Superlist on all platforms, and works in every place where you can edit a task title. Typing the day or date term will show you a little suggestion popover which can be confirm by tap, click, or Return. Once it is confirmed, the recognized word gets removed from the task title and the due date is set.

Please note, that currently commands only work in English language. We are working on expanding this to more languages in the near future. Additionally, custom repeat options, like "every second Wednesday of the month" are also not supported.

We are also adding new terms to the list of recignized words. If you have suggestions, please let us know.
