How to Use Talk AI in Superlist

Talk is our brand-new AI voice assistant integrated into Superlist. Designed for busy people on the go, Talk lets you handle your task and notes with nothing more than your voice. From Monday morning planning sessions to on-the-go task creation to capturing voice notes that are instantly transcribed, let Talk handle the details while you focus on what’s next.

It’s like sending WhatsApp voice notes to your personal assistant. Create tasks complete with due dates and subtasks, and even enrich them with your own voice dictations. Need to follow up on a message? Simply say it, and Talk will create a task and include the message you dictate. You can even create longer notes and complete lists on the fly, completely hands-free.

Talk is currently in beta and available as part of our Pro plan.

To start using Talk, simply start the microphone and tell Superlist about the things that are on your mind and that you want to do. You can start by saying things like

"I need to finalize the project preparations this week and present them to the team. I also need to book my next vacation and take care of the handover. I shouldn’t forget to set up my Out of Office email replies."

As soo as you start talking, you'll see the voice recording collecting your ideas. If you want to take a moment, you can pause and resume. Press the checkmark button and Talk AI will generate actionable task titles based on your input. Once you see the little confirmation you can check out what has been added to your lists.

You can start the Talk option in several ways in Superlist on iOS and Android.

A long press on the plus button will start Talk immediately. Just grant Microphone permissions and start talking.

You'll find the Talk button directly in the bottom bar. Press it to activate Talk and tell Superlist what you want to add to your Inbox or Today view.

In the bottom bar in each of your lists, the Talk button is visible next to the +New Task button. When using it here, all tasks will get created directly in the selected list.
