Navigating the mobile app
The mobile app has four main tabs:
Sidebar: This is where you’ll find all lists, tasks, and sections.
Inbox: The inbox includes tasks that need your attention, like tasks that have been assigned to you, added via integrations, or manually added tasks.
Today: This view shows all overdue tasks and tasks due that day.
Messages: This displays all messages added to tasks you’ve created, been assigned to, or been mentioned in.
Create tasks
The fastest way to add tasks to Superlist for mobile is through your inbox. Navigate to Inbox or Today and tap the plus sign to create a new task. Enter a task title, fill out other relevant information like assignee, due date, and label, then tap Done (located near the top right of the screen) to add a task to your inbox.
To add a subtask / open the task details you can either swipe on the task from right to left or click on the right pointing arrow above the keyboard to the right.
Long press on tasks to copy their link, add or remove them from your inbox, delete them, and more. (Note that this is currently limited to iOS.)
You can also add tasks to lists. Navigate to the sidebar to find and open a list. Tap anywhere in the list to add a content block. When the switcher — visible at the top the keyboard — shows a checkmark, you can add a task.
Browse tasks and lists
Everything in Superlist stays synced between devices. If you want to view and manage your existing tasks and lists you can navigate to your sidebar to open views like Tasks and Lists or open a specific list in your sidebar.
When it comes to list-editing, there are a few key differences between our desktop and mobile apps. Currently, Superlist for mobile doesn’t offer the ability to:
Download images and attachments
Undo deletions
Share feedback and report issues
Share feedback in the app
To share feedback via our in-app messenger, navigate to the sidebar, tap the gear icon at the top of the app, and then tap Get support. In addition to sending a message, you can search our help center or submit feature ideas.
Frequently asked questions
Does Superlist for mobile support landscape mode?
Right now, Superlist for mobile is optimized for portrait mode. If there's a scenario where you'd want to use landscape mode on a smartphone, please get in touch — we'd love to learn more about your use case.
Does Superlist for mobile support iPad?
We do not currently support iPad, although it is possible to install Superlist on your iPad. In the future, we are committed to supporting a dedicated iPad app. But before we can do that, we want to make sure we deliver a great core experience across existing platforms.
