The Inbox is where new and important tasks are processed.
What shows up in the inbox?
By default, your inbox contains tasks that require your attention, like tasks assigned to you, tasks added from integrations, and tasks added via quick command. You can also create tasks directly in the inbox, or add existing tasks to the inbox.
Add tasks to your inbox
There are three ways to add tasks to your inbox:
Navigate to Inbox and create a new task.
Right-click (or long press) on any task and select Add to Inbox.
Drag and drop a task into your inbox.
Remove tasks from your inbox
There are three ways to remove a task from your inbox.
Mark a task as complete.
Right-click (or long press) on a task in your inbox and select Remove from inbox.
Drag and drop a task onto a list.
How should I use the inbox?
We’ve designed the inbox to be flexible, so that you can make it work with your workflow. Here are two ways the Superlist team uses the inbox.
Process tasks to reach inbox zero
If you’re working with others, or actively using our integrations, your inbox might fill up with tasks that need to be processed. If that’s the case, you can take the following approach to your inbox:
Review new tasks in your inbox.
Clarify tasks by updating due dates, assigning a collaborator, or adding a message.
Complete quick-win tasks.
Move bigger tasks to other lists.
Turn your inbox into your weekly focus
If you’re working solo, your inbox might not fill up so fast. In that case, after processing tasks from integrations, you can:
Create important tasks directly in the inbox
Drag your most important tasks into your inbox, so that they stay top of mind.
